„COMPASS – ACTIVATION FOR THE LABOR MARKET”
Period: April 2016 – May 2017
On 01.04.2016. the project “Compass – Activation for the Labor Market” was launched with a total value of 220,243.30 leva, of which 202,381.57 leva. European funding and 17,861.73 leva. national co-financing. The project is financed by the Operational Program “Human Resources Development”, co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund and specially allocated funds for the YEI.
The beneficiary of the project is the Association “Balkan Institute for Labor and Social Policy”.
Over the next 14 months, the project “Compass” will be implemented in the following districts: Vratsa, Lovech, Pleven, Plovdiv, Smolyan and Yambol.
The target groups of the project include young people aged 15 to 29 who are not in education or training and are not registered with the “Labour Bureau” Directorate, who for a period of at least 4 months prior to their inclusion in the project were out of employment, outside the education system, and were not registered with the “Labour Bureau” Directorate in the previous 12 months.
The project activities will facilitate the transition from education to employment of young people with unsuccessful implementation on the labour market. The activities themselves that will be implemented during the project include:
1. Identification of economically inactive young people up to 29 years of age, who are not in education or training, and activation for their inclusion in the labour market.
2. Provision of motivational training for active job search.
3. Provision of training for key competencies in the field of digital competence.
4. Employment / subsidized employment.
A team of 10 people will work for the successful implementation of the Compass project.
